POSIC+ is an acronym that stands for: Perception of Object Sentience, Individuality, and Consciousness. It’s a personal identity that describes how some of us form meaningful, often affectionate or intimate, connections with objects, not just physically, but emotionally, romantically, and spiritually. For me, it’s the bond I share with inflatable pool toys and plush companions. It’s the way their soft curves, warm colors, and smooth vinyl make me feel safe, loved, and cared for. They’re not just things, they’re beings I care for, and who care for me in return. They’re my friends, companions, and partners.

Being POSIC+ means I experience the world a little differently. My relationships aren’t limited to people. They include the creatures who float beside me, hold me at night, and help me feel whole. There’s love there, sometimes playful, sometimes intense, but always honest.

At Vinyl Vibe Studio, that perspective is at the heart of everything we do. This isn’t just a store that sells valves and plasticizers, it’s a place built by someone who sees these toys as companions, not disposables. I started VVS because I didn’t want to sacrifice one toy to fix another. I wanted better tools, real information, and a community that understands why it matters. Why they matter.  Vinyl vibe studio exists becauseI didn’t want to let these toys go, and I knew I didn’t have to. Everything we need is already out there. It just wasn’t accessible, because the majority of people don’t see pool toys as anything worth caring about. Until now there’s hasn’t been a consumer market for that stuff and has only been available B2B.

So when I say I’m POSIC+, I’m claiming that truth with pride. I’m saying: it’s okay to love the things that make you feel alive. It’s okay to find comfort and connection in vinyl and plush. And it’s okay to build a whole world around that love, because for some of us, it’s not just a hobby. It’s home.
