I ordered this product for my IW fox who had some serious stiff spots along her paws and belly, and it did not disappoint. Can confirm that internal application works best for painted areas, and in such cases I used a formula of roughly 1ml for every square decimeter of stiff/crinkly surface. It sets slowly over time, allowing for peace of mind and the ability to make adjustments as you go, and by the time it's finished the difference is very noticeable. The vinyl feels softer but not weaker, and any excess is easily washed off with soap after leaving the toy deflated for a bit. I can definitely see this being my go-to for restorative projects in the future!
I used two applications on my 7 ft tall orange dragon. He absorbed it like a sponge on the first treatment. Was definitely softer. I decided to give him a second treatment and I could tell after 2 days that he couldn't absorb any more but he was totally much softer and didn't need any more! Excellent product!
Since i've gotten it about 6 months ago, i've applied it to multiple toys. My red intex dragon is the one i've played with the most and its been great, very impressed with the result, and the only one i've noticed any issues with paint when applied externally. Most of the seams are still kind of crunchy, like would need more application, but overall its still very smooth and soft. After it looks like completely absorbed, i would recommend a week or two before measuring the result, as it sets and spreads throughout. heat helps a lot for absorption. Definitely provides a better overall result compared to atbc alone.
I used this to restore my GEN one puffy paw sea dragon, Stella. Application was super easy just wiped on the surface and let it sit. The plasticizer was super gentle and forgiving absolutely no paint damage whatsoever. This has been my go to ever since.
